Mogstock's Roots Manoeuvre

Popular PSDS fundraiser and family friendly music festival, Mogstock, went back to its roots this year returning to the home of PSDS members Keiran and Stella, where it started as a garden birthday party 11 years ago!

Over the years Mogstock has grown and grown (and outgrown the various gardens that have hosted it!). The last few editions have taken place at The Sportsman Pub in Mogador, filling all the available in door and out door space.

Social distancing meant this year's festival couldn't go ahead in its usual format, but that didn't stop Mogstock weaving its musical magic!

Music maestros DropFrog, The 508's, Bunglesfinger and Tom Hughes and story-teller Andy Copp all performed in Keiran and Stella's front driveway for an audience of (socially distanced!) neighbours. Their performances were streamed live on YouTube and also shared via Zoom with Mogstock fans logging in and rocking out from locations including London, Surrey, West Sussex, Wales and Tenerife.

Mogstock's ever popular Barrow of Booze raffle also went ahead this year, thanks to the very generous donations of beers, wines and spirits from PSDS members and friends. The lucky winner, Helen T (pictured below with Keiran), lives just round the corner from Keiran and Stella - making collection of her wheelbarrow full of winnings very easy.

We are hugely grateful to everyone* who worked hard to make sure Mogstock 2020 could still go ahead. Also a big thank you to all who entered the Barrow of Booze raffle with donations via our special QR code totalling £489. and for the further £300 raised via the Mogstock bar and donations.

Plans are already underway for Mogstock 2021 which it is hoped will return to The Sportsman on 17th July. Watch this space!
