Pier To Pier For PSDS

Back in July a group of Worthing high school students walked from Worthing Pier to Brighton Pier as part of their fundraising efforts for PSDS. The magnificent seven - Maisie, Max, Lorna, Cydney, Hattie, Flo and Elle - all put their best feet forward for PSDS and were joined on their walk by their teacher, Mrs Blunt.

The Pier To Pier walk was just part of the group's fundraising efforts. Maisie and her pals carried out a whole range of activities at school and there was also a charity day at the Golden Lion too. Their hard work has really paid off, collectively raising over £500, plus sponsorship from Howdens Joinery of a further £500 means the superstar students have raised over £1,000 to help psds continue to help children and young people who have Down syndrome to reach their full, wonderful potential.

We are so grateful to Howdens, Maisie, all the students and staff at her school, the Golden Lion and everyone who supported the students' fundraising efforts - what a brilliant result and a wonderful group of young people!
