Following on from their succeessful debut at Run Reigate last year. an expanded Joggers for Jack team once again ran rings around the course to raise funds for PSDS.
The 2018 Intersport Run Reigate Surrey Half Marathon took place on Sunday 16th September and a dashing dozen Joggers for Jack (whose ages range from 7 years old to 69 years young) completed various distances including 5K, 10K and the kids cumulative half marathon which finished with a 1 mile grand finale on race day.
We are hugely grateful to all the Joggers - Manda, who clocked up a half marathon in a very respectable time of 2 hours and 19 minutes; 5k runners, Denise, Lisa, Claire, Zoe, and Lucas; and the younger team members running a mile on the day Callan, Carson, Scarlett, Neve, Ted and Betsy. With the generous support of their sponsors, Joggers for Jack have raised a whopping total of over £1,000 so far and donations are still coming in.
With family and friends, including Jack and his twin sister Jessica, proudly cheering the Joggers on, it's no wonder they all made it safely round the course with beaming smiles and a huge sense of achievement.
Well done to all the Joggers for Jack - what a phenomenal team effort - and a big thank you to all the fabulous sponsors too.
(The Joggers' inspiration, Jack, taking a well earned break from cheering everyone on!)
