Magnifique Mogstock

It wasn't just the glorious sunshine, picturesque setting, delicious BBQ, yummy cakes, craft beers, fun activities, lots of happy smiles and the ton of cash raised for PSDS that made Mogstock 2018 music to our ears. The ears of all who attended were treated to a wonderful array of musicians and performers throughout the afternoon and evening - all kindly giving up their time and talent to perform for free.

We are hugely grateful to BunglesFinger, The508s, Josie Proto, Wake, Midlife Crisis, Snickers, Martin Hale, Katie & Ben, Marc Barker, Gary James & Crew, DJ Extra and Becca & Tom who all took to the stage, plus our thanks also go to Dragonfly Studios and Dreamraven Events without whom there would have been no stage to perform on and no sound coming from it!

The crew at The Sportsman, Mogador, kept calm and carried on pouring drinks/pulling pints - even when the queue for refreshments stretched out of the door. Thankfully Crumbs Brewing were on hand in the garden to assist with keeping thirsts quenched with some of their delicious brews.

A whole host of other lovely people also gave up their time to keep the young and young-at-heart Mogstockers entertained. A big thanks to Stella's Facepainting Crew, Minal's Henna Art, Miriam's Altetude French Study & Tuition, Ashleigh and family and friends, plus all the helpers who sold Barrow of Booze tickets and rattled collecting buckets!

When events are as busy as Mogstock, those involved don't get chance to look around and see what's going on, so we are very lucky to have a wonderful set of Mogstock photos courtesy of Rachel Thornhill Photography and CamAero Drone Services to enjoy looking back on. Thanks to both for their help and support.

Most importantly of all without the hard work and huge amount of effort put in by Mogstock organisers and PSDS members, Keiran and Stella (assisted by an army of family and friends) the event just wouldn't happen or be anywhere near as magnifique.

The French flavour to Mogstock 2018 came from the fact it fell on Bastille Day this year. So far an incredible total of just under £3,000 has been raised for PSDS and funds are still coming in. And thankfully, there was no sign of a revolution, just the revelation of what a truly fantastique event Mogstock is.

Pop the date for Mogstock 2019 in your diaries now...Saturday 13th July - lucky for some! And definitely very lucky indeed for PSDS and all who attend this family friendly festival of music and fun!

Merci beaucoup!
