Marathon Men Make Brighton Rock

Lesser mortals amongst us might not hot foot it down to Brighton when it's a damp grey day, but thankfully PSDS member Richard and his pal Dan did. The two intrepid runners took part in the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 15th April and completed the gruelling course in very respectable times. Not only that, the magnificent Marathon Men have so far clocked up an amazing total of over £3,300 (including GiftAid) for PSDS. A huge total for which we are really grateful!

Richard, his wife Manda and some of their family and friends are pulling out all the stops to raise funds for PSDS as a thank you for the support they receive. Richard and Manda's two-year-old twins, Jack and Jessica, have got in on the fundraising act too by rocking their socks with friends at their nursery in Horsham during Down Syndrome Awareness Week.

Last year, Manda and pals took part in Run Reigate to raise funds for PSDS. Team "Joggers For Jack" will be at it again in September taking on the Run Reigate course once more, with Manda tackling her first half-marathon this time round. Before that, close friend Chloe heads off to Edinburgh to run their Marathon in May.

With all their hard work training, running and fundraising the whole of "Joggers For Jack" have been clocking up the miles - and the smiles! We are grinning from ear to ear with gratitude for all their support!
