Jack's Joggers' Joy

Jack and Jessica's mum, Manda, and her fabulous Joggers for Jack team-mates were jumping for joy after completing their Run Reigate challenge on Sunday 17th September.

Manda and Lisa both ran 10k. Chloe and Dan clocked up a half marathon each, whilst the younger team members - Carson, Callan, Lucas, Amelie, Scarlett and Neve - did brilliantly running the final mile of the Run Reigate course as well as accumulating a half marathon distance in the lead up to the big day. Well done everyone!

Joggers for Jack were amongst almost 3,000 runners taking part in the 4th annual Intersport Run Reigate event, with double Olympic gold medal winner Dame Kelly Holmes getting things underway.

As well as clocking up some serious mileage, Manda and her team have raised a serious amount of cash for PSDS too - their current total is just under £2,000 and donations are still coming in!

So what spurred Manda on to achieve such a great result? Manda's motivation was deciding she wanted to support PSDS in return for the support she and her family receive, in particular the help given to Jack who has just started at DIGBIES. That and a big glass of prosecco waiting at the end of the race - well, you've got to celebrate such a phenomenal achievement in style, haven't you?

Cheers Manda, Lisa, Chloe, Dan and all the junior Joggers too. You all did brilliantly and should feel very proud of yourselves.
