Mogstock and Barrel

Give over Glastonbury. Beat it Bestival. Vamoosh V-Fest.....The musical feast that is MOGSTOCK: The Mogical Mystery Tour took place recently in our very own neck of the woods, Mogador near Reigate.

Niamh and Ailie's parents, Stella and Keiran, have been running Mogstock for the past 6 years as a showcase for local bands and performers, as well as a chance to raise funds for charities, including psds.

Since Mogstock started out, psds has received donations to the tune of over £7,000 - including a fabulous £2,000 from Mogstock's most recent outing the day before the psds Fun Day.

This year, the other charity to benefit was Alports Kidney Research, chosen by the co-hosts of Mogstock 2015, Jim and Sam, whose garden was transformed with friends and family, glitter tattoos, face painting, bouncy castles, a BBQ, cakes galore and a real ale beer tent, with marquees kindly borrowed from Broome Park Nursing Home of Betchworth (www.broome-park.co.uk).

Over 200 music lovers of all ages - from 9 months old to 70 years young - got in to the groove provided by a line up of acts including BunglesFinger (www.bunglesfinger.com), KillerFish (www.killerfish.co.uk), Tanya Cristina (www.tanyacristina.com), Liayson, BC Lethal, DJ Xtra and Peachy Keen (whose line up includes Stella, Keiran, Niamh and Ailie!) with entertainment running from 2pm to past midnight.

We are enormously grateful to everyone involved in Mogstock (organising, hosting, performing and attending!) for their continued support of psds. You ROCK!
