Soggy Sunday Run

It rained a lot on Sunday 23rd September. So much in fact that the soggy conditions made the Surrey Hills 10k Challenge even more challenging than usual. Described as a "hilly and technical challenge" the 10km course loops out from Denbies Wine Estate across open tracks, footpaths, farmland, woodland trails and the North Downs Way before finishing up back at Denbies.

No doubt Graham Norris, friend of PSDS members, the Grover family, wondered what the heck he was doing as he lined up for his first ever 10k. But we are so grateful he ventured out and completed the challenge he had set himself a few months earlier.

Not only did Graham smash the rain-soaked course, he totally smashed his fundraising target by securing a whopping £1,500 in donations and a further £280 in Gift Aid.

Well done Graham - what an amazing effort and achievement. We are so grateful for your support and to everyone who kindly donated.
