BBQ Bonanza

More than 100 children and adults from thirty psds families gathered together for fun in the sun at our Garden Party and BBQ on Sunday 4th June. We spent a lovely afternoon in the garden at Lloyd Hall, our psds "hq", and children from toddlers to teens enjoyed playing together on all the fabulous play equipment. Picnic blankets and garden chairs were out in abundance too with friends from psds catching up with each other.

A delicious BBQ cooked by our neighbours, Outwood Butchers (just opposite Lloyd Hall if you haven't discovered them yet!) went down a treat and of course there were lots of sweet treats to enjoy too. It wouldn't be a psds get-together without cake!

Children and adults alike enjoyed watching and in some cases taking part in a show by the fabulous Jelly Kelly who definitely gave it some welly and produced some amazing balloon models as well as generating lots of giggles with her fun magic tricks.

Towards the end of the afternoon a prize draw took place for a fantastic Summer Hamper, kindly put together and donated by Ollie's wonderful mum, Rachael. SueRae and her family were very excited to win the hamper and will have great fun discovering all the goodies inside. The Corbett family were delighted to snap up a prize of a £25 voucher from Outwood Butchers too. Thanks to everyone who bought raffle tickets and helped to raise £159.

We are extremely grateful to our friends from Redhill and Reigate Round Table too whose funding covered the costs of our entertainment and BBQ. And we are very grateful to the sun who definitely had his hat on for the afternoon. Hip Hip Hooray!
