Children, parents and therapists at Digbies' Thursday pre-school group rocked their mismatched socks in celebration of Down Syndrome Awareness Week and World Down Syndrome Day.
The wearing of mismatched socks is an initiative launched by Down Syndrome International where everyone is invited to wear LOTS of SOCKS on 21st March - World Down Syndrome Day. The purpose of wearing mismatched socks? To get noticed, start a conversation and have the opportunity to talk about why you are wearing them! It's also fun!
In addition to rocking their socks, the Digbies group also had some early Easter fun with a chocolate raffle raising £60 for psds.
Thanks to everyone at Digbies for their support and for getting Down Syndrome Awareness Week activities off to a great start!
